Whether you’re an arts organization or an individual, become a member to unlock all the resources from the CGA, like our Sustainable Theatre Guidebook.
The commons for learning and teaching about the intersection between theatre and the Earth.
The CGA creates resources to aid arts organizations and individuals in the design, construction, and production of ecologically responsible theatre. Through the development of a comprehensive guidebook, and the use of Alliance green ambassadors within each theatre, the CGA guides arts organizations towards sustainable choices from their front of house to their backstage. As the Canadian arts community has specialists in many areas of the greenification of theatre, the CGA is the meeting place for conversation, dissemination of ideas, and formation of key partnerships.
Become a memberThe CGA offers memberships for arts organizations looking for guidance on how to incorporate sustainability into their theatres, and individual arts workers looking to greenify their artistic practice.

The learning annex is the meeting place for sharing information that is both accessible and reciprocal. Arts workers across the country are encouraged to pull up a chair and offer their expertise, insights, and best practices for sustainable theatre. Got an idea?
